Once in a Blue Moon SOLD
This is one of my favorites. It was the fruition of several workshops with Rise Parberry and Elaine Harvey learning about collaging – painting papers and designing an image. I loved these sessions and at one, I observed a “master of abstract painting and design”( who was also taking the workshop) pushing her papers around long after the rest of us had slavishly covered every square inch of our paper. She came up with a completely elegant and spare design that blew me away! Thank you Carol Thomason!

Southwest Vision IV- SOLD
I love everything about the Southwest and its history! As a 2nd generation San Diegan with strong Hispanic traditions and lore and reported Native American ancestors, I gravitate strongly to the beauty and traditions of the Southwest. This painting was another mixed media collage, with papers painted primarily in acrylic, accented with Caran d’ache watercolor crayons, then affixed to heavy watercolor paper. 15X22 image
