Scenic Landscapes Gallery

These paintings are very special to me. For several years, my husband and I and a small group of friends were hosted by a truly lovely and gracious Navajo family (the Yazzis) in the spiritual, awe-inspiring Canyon de Chelly on the Navajo Nation Reservation. Our camping equipment was loaded into trucks and delivered to our campsite at Junction Rock and we rode our horses down into the canyon to the site. Every day we rode out to different sites in the vast canyon, guided by a family member or two who shared their culture, history, life and historic events. Memories to last a lifetime!
